When Steven visited Manila last month on his Planet Barbecue tour, naturally he experienced such Filipino barbecue specialties as chicken inasal (vinegar marinated grilled chicken) and lechon (lemongrass stuffed Filipino spit roasted hog). He also found time to do a lecture on American barbecue and book-signing at Manila’s premier bookstore, Fully Booked.



The Filipino audience learned about North Carolina style pulled pork, Santa Maria-style tri-tip, and Tomales Bay grilled oysters (picture above).
