INGENIOUS: SMOKED EGG PATE

One of Steven’s favorite recipes from his book Planet Barbecue (Workman, 2010) is Smoked Egg Pate (see page 13), a dish he discovered when he visited the historic Auberge Shulamit on Israel’s Sea of Galilee.
While filming an episode of Le Maitre du Grill recently, Steven discovered the stainless steel rack he designed to cook shellfish like clams, mussels, and oysters on the grill works beautifully for eggs, too!
