I think this is my favorite Project Smoke recipe. I might not have made them as well as Steven does, but they seemed to be as good at home as they were during recipe testing and on the TV show. My Mom made the rub and used cayenne, so they were a bit spicy. But I love a spicy rub with a sweet sauce on chicken or pork. Awesome!

The glaze is really sweet and it goes great with the smoke flavor. Our version accidentally had a spicier rub than called for, but I loved it. Shared them with family and friends and there were no complaints.
