Better than tell you, I can show you. I own an Outlaw with SFB, and I bought it through Barbecue Country in Edmonton. But I think that Home Depot or Lowe's may be able to het the Outlaw on special order too.
By the way, I'm cleaning this Outlaw up over the next few weeks. This one is 5 years old and needs a bit of cleanup, but keep in mind that it's been out in the elements without a cover for all that time so it's holding up really well.
That changes this year for the better as I've got a large cover for it. I picked up a decent 65" cover at Princess Auto for about $15 (clearance price).
As you can see, the main cooking surface is 36x20 inches (720 sq. inches). In practical terms that's a lot of room. With 2 Traeger racks you can fit 16 slabs of ribs and a couple of small beer-can chickens on it.
I've looked extensively at the Char-Broil rigs and I'm not really a fan. The lid design doesn't allow it to close as tightly as I'd like without modification, and the firebox isn't as good as the CG (vents aren't tight enough and it leaks a bit). There's also a lot less room vertically so it's a bit small. Plus - the CGs double as grills, but I didn't see that feature on the Char-Broils.
