Hey Steven - see what Jamie thinks about oiling the food rather than the grill! The two of you differ on that topic, at least in your books (and I own 4 of Jamie's books as well. :D
Unlike propane, you'll never wake up scorched and naked in another county because you mishandled a bag of briquettes.
