So here are the results from my other post.
I smoked an 8 pound turkey and made steve's smoked beans on the weber.
took about 4 hours.
The new ECB worked ok.
the mods i made on it was adding a thermometer and drilling holes in the charcoal pan for more air. added a charcoal basket so it can get more air a lose some ash too.
I had to add some lump towards the end. the temp just wasn't getting there.
I kept some notes since this was my first turkey smoke and on new smoker.

It was fantastic by the way.
Will definitely do again.
