Location: Indian Head Park, IL.
Been several years since I've been to the Texas barbecue belt. Ate at several around Austin And Lockhart and going into the Hill Country. Stll believe the best to be Chisholm Trail in Lockhart. It's where the locals go for their barbecue.

Even though I live in Central Texas, I have not had Franklin's, and I almost universally hear it's the best. The best brisket I've had in Texas is at Cooper's BBQ in Llano. Have you been there Steven?
