Today in Home Depot I saw "Embers" brand charcoal and I'm not familiar with it. It's a Royal Oak product and made in the USA, but there's no disclaimer about the briquettes being hardwood or "all natural" so I'm wondering if it's a bargain brand...kind of like the Old Milwaukee or Busch of charcoal. It was priced at $6 for a 16.6 lb. bag while the Kingsford double pack was $20.

Has anyone ever used it?

If I recall correctly, in early seasons of BBQU Steven used Embers briquettes.

I'll have to dig thru my early recordings.
