With the winter storm coming, everyone at the supermarket is scrambling for bread, milk and eggs. I HATE French toast... I went straight to the meat
department... Restaurant Depot clearance ... Angus at $6.15/lb. Couldn't resist. Have some strips dry-aging, so I cut off a nice 4-person rib roast, and still yielded a dozen steaks.

That's a smart approach, PJ! A few pounds of meat are just as much a staple as bread, milk, and eggs!

So did you grill any of them or just pop them into the freezer?

My daughter had just come home from college, so I did grill up the nicest three. I lucked out on the marbling. VERY tender. Sometimes Angus at Restaurant Depot can be hit or miss. This was reduced from $8.50 to $6.16/lb.
