We Barbecue Board members tend to fire up the grill in all kinds of weather, but, for some people, Memorial Day is the official start of grilling season. What will you be doing this weekend? If you're having people over (or even if you're not), check out Steven's menu. It's full of Raichlen family favorites and recipes from his new book, Man Made Meals: The Essential Cookbook for Guys.

See the full menu.

Those are some good ideas! I'd add the "Dear Dog" as well, for those who might not want as much heat.

I haven't really given it much thought but there's plenty of hamburger and steak in the freezer so I might go that route. I've made the "Inside-Out Cheeseburgers" before and the blue cheese really elevates the flavor. And then there's that Uruguayan chivito, but I think I'd change it slightly by frying the eggs in butter instead of bacon fat (personal preference) and leaving the lettuce and tomato off my half. If that makes it look a little skimpy I'll add more bacon.
