This set from Korin includes a small black konro (hibachi) grill, as well as high-quality Japanese binchotan charcoal, tongs, and a base for placing the grill on the table or countertop. Perfect for tabletop grilling for one or two people. Japanese binchotan charcoal burns at a very high temperature, which can lead to an extremely hot konro. To prevent injuries this konro has an outer reservoir in which water can be stored to keep the temperature of the konro’s exterior down significantly. The reservoir also makes cleaning easier as it catches fats and oils.
