A portion of Jack Daniel’s whiskey remains in the white oak wood of the barrels after the whiskey aging process. Some of these barrels are made into wood smoking chips, which will add the distinctive flavor of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Whiskey to food cooked on grills or smokers.
