Ham
Grilled Whole Ham with Sweet Kentucky Bourbon Glaze
This grilled whole ham brings together smoky flavor and a sweet bourbon glaze for a holiday or weekend feast. The ham is scored and studded with garlic, then slow-cooked over indirect heat until tender. During the final stretch on the grill, it’s topped with pineapple slices and cherries, then basted with a mix of brown sugar, pineapple juice, and bourbon that caramelizes into a sticky glaze. After resting, the ham slices beautifully and serves a crowd with a balance of savory, fruity, and lightly boozy notes.

- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 can sliced pineapple
- Pineapple juice (just use the juice from the can of sliced pineapple)
- 1 small jar of maraschino cherries
Recipe Steps
1: Prepare grill for cooking with indirect heat and then preheat grill to 325°F/163°C for 15 minutes.
2: Score ham with diagonal cuts and insert cloves of garlic in them.
3: Lightly oil the Oscarware XL Porcelain Roast and Rib Rack then place ham on the rack.
4: Place rack with ham over the indirect heat section of grill.

8: Pour the brown sugar, bourbon, and pineapple juice mixture over the ham and return the ham with the rack to the grill to finish cooking.
9: Remove from grill and let ham rest at least 25 minutes before carving. Do not cover with foil while resting.
10: Allow Oscarware XL Roast and Rib Rack to cool completely before washing. The rack is dishwasher safe. Read our use and care instructions.
