Spicy Mango-Habanero Glazed Chicken Wings with Smoked Cranberry-Habanero Camembert Cheese
Ingredients
For the Chicken Wings:
- 2 lbs chicken wings
- 2 tablespoons Texas Pepper Jelly Chipotle Spice Rub
- 2 tablespoons Texas Pepper Jelly Blended Honey Rub
- 1 cup Texas Pepper Jelly Mango-Habanero Bird Bath
- Grilled bread slices (baguette or any preferred bread)
Recipe Steps
For the Chicken Wings:
- In a bowl, mix together the Texas Pepper Jelly Chipotle Spice Rub and Blended Honey Rub.
- Coat the chicken wings with the spice rub mixture, ensuring they are well-covered. Place the wings in a large zip-top bag and refrigerate overnight for maximum flavor infusion.
- Preheat your grill or smoker for indirect grilling at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Place the marinated wings on the grill away from direct heat and close the lid. Cook for about 25 minutes until the wings start to crisp.
- Baste the wings with Texas Pepper Jelly Mango-Habanero Bird Bath and continue cooking for an additional 15 minutes or until the wings are fully cooked and crispy.
- Sprinkle more Chipotle Spice Rub over the wings before serving.
- Serve the wings with a side of blue cheese sauce.
For the Smoked Cranberry-Habanero Camembert Cheese:
- Preheat your grill or smoker for indirect grilling at 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Char a cedar plank on the grill for added smokiness. Alternatively, you can soak the plank beforehand if desired.
- Place the Camembert cheese wheel on the charred cedar plank.
- Spread Texas Pepper Jelly Cranberry-Habanero Pepper Jelly over the top of the cheese and sprinkle chopped walnuts.
- Transfer the cedar plank with the cheese to the grill, away from direct heat, and close the lid. Smoke-roast for about 15 minutes or until the cheese is warm and gooey.
- Serve the smoked Camembert cheese with pieces of grilled bread.
