Sweet and Sour Fire Sauce

- Yield: About 1 cup
Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons (3/4 stick) unsalted butter
- 6 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 6 tablespoons of your favorite hot sauce
- Coarse salt (kosher or sea) and freshly ground black pepper
Recipe Steps
1: Place the butter, vinegar, honey, and hot sauce in a heavy nonreactive saucepan over high heat. Melt the butter, then boil the ingredients until syrupy, 3 to 5 minutes, whisking steadily. Remove the pan from the heat and let cool to room temperature. Add salt and pepper to taste.
