Step 1: Rinse the sushi rice with cold water in a colander until the water is clear. Place in bowl and let sit for 15 minutes. Place the rice and water in a medium saucepan over medium high heat and bring to a boil. Give it a quick stir, reduce heat to low, cover and let simmer for 20 minutes, until it is soft.
Step 2: Remove rice from heat and let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
